In The Beginning…
In 2009, Michelle Hedegard opened the doors to Mockingbird Creative in a small office with just a desk, computer, and a handful of clients. Celebrate magazine and the Single Parent Scholarship Fund were a few of her pioneer clients. Mockingbird had success with web design and smaller scale branding projects but Hedegard wanted to offer more. She had a vision of quality, not quantity, and needed someone to help see the big picture for the agency’s success.
In 2012, Hedegard sold the agency to Kezie Odunukwe, current President of Mockingbird Creative. He continued to develop new branding methods and expand the client base, focusing mainly on non-profit organizations, law firms, and athletes. Shortly after, he came up with a clear vision for the company.
Fast forward to 2014. Mockingbird Creative has relaunched as a full-service agency. Michelle Hedegard has also rejoined the team after doing design work for the Walton Arts Center. The agency prides itself on its ability to create long-term relationships with clients.
The team is there from the development stage to the end result and for every challenge along the way. Their holistic approach to branding ensures that every aspect of marketing and social media work together to tell the clients’ stories.
